About the Role
A global organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its U.S.-based accounting team. This role reports to a Revenue Accounting Manager and plays a key part in the month-end close and revenue reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly close process, including preparation and review of journal entries
  • Perform revenue analysis and assist with internal reporting requirements
  • Calculate and record accruals related to advisory and fee-based revenue streams
  • Maintain and monitor system interfaces and key controls
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of reconciliations and financial analyses
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
  • Conduct periodic analytical reviews of revenue trends, including AUM-based fee analysis for management reporting
  • Analyze accounts receivable aging and assist with collections-related insights
  • Compile and interpret financial data from multiple systems and sources
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries, as well as support ad hoc projects
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as fund operations, transfer agency, billing, legal, and international teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and U.S. GAAP

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • CPA or progress toward certification preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard business applications
