The successful candidate will possess proven world-class experience in managing account objectives, strategies and problem solving, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, sense of urgency and bias for action.
Role and Responsibilities
Lead account growth while managing customer relationships and serving as the voice of the customer.
Create customer strategies through detailed value propositions that maximize bookings, revenue and profitability while achieving client metrics and objectives.
Partner and build relationships with the assigned customer and establish proactive communication that promotes confidence and trust.
Lead resolution of customer commercial disputes as client customer lead.
Ensure customer demands are managed through appropriate internal processes with timely responses consistent with commercial policy.
Create and drive deployment of the strategic customer plan through the customer team and relevant functions; regularly report progress and correct deviations or shortfalls.
Identify business development opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required.
5+ years of sales experience required.
5+ years of experience working directly with Manufacturing, Finance and Engineering required.
Multi-tasker with proven strong work ethic, customer expertise and product expertise.
Experience leading a global sales team in a manufacturing or technology industry.
Track record managing complex commercial discussions, establishing global customer strategies and increasing revenue/growth.
Proven experience building sales capabilities and multitasking across multiple customers.
5+ years of sales leadership experience.
Account management experience with Ford preferred.
Electronics / Electrical Center product experience preferred.
Previous automotive systems experience and sales and/or engineering background preferred.
Strong communication skills, customer intimacy, commercial excellence, market intelligence and problem solving.
Ideal candidate should demonstrate adaptability, continuous learning, resilience, clear expectation-setting, accountability and strategic execution.
