As a Senior Account Manager, you will identify and develop new business opportunities across fragrance, beauty, lifestyle, and consumer brands on the West Coast. You will build relationships with prospective clients, identify emerging brands and market opportunities, and partner with internal teams to convert opportunities into new business. You will use your fragrance industry experience, client network, and olfactive knowledge to support business growth.

Your Title: Senior Account Manager

Your Location: Los Angeles Metro Area (Los Angeles, Orange County, or surrounding area)

You''ll Report to: Global Business Director and dotted-line reporting relationship to the Head of FF NOAM

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships across fragrance, beauty, lifestyle, and consumer brands.

  • Will also manage an existing portfolio of west coast clients.

  • Build relationships with founders, executives, brand leaders, and industry contacts.

  • Identify emerging brands, market trends, and cultural movements that may create business opportunities.

  • Evaluate fragrance opportunities based on olfactive trends, consumer relevance, and business potential.

  • Partner with fragrance development and marketing teams to convert opportunities into new business.

  • Develop and manage prospective client relationships throughout the business development process.

  • Represent Givaudan at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.

  • Maintain awareness of the Southern California fragrance and beauty market and identify opportunities for continued growth.

Your Professional Profile Includes

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, project management, sales, partnerships, or commercial roles within fragrance or beauty.

  • Experience evaluating fragrances and applying olfactive knowledge to client and business opportunities.

  • Experience generating and securing new business within fragrance or beauty.

  • Existing professional network within the Southern California beauty and fragrance market.

  • Experience developing relationships with founders, executives, brand leaders, and other client stakeholders.

  • Experience presenting business opportunities and fragrance concepts to clients and internal teams.

  • Ability to manage business development activities with limited oversight.

  • Availability for frequent travel, including travel to our regional headquarters in New York City.

Compensation and Benefits

The established salary range for this position is $155,000-$200,000k. Actual compensation will depend on individual qualifications. Medical, dental, and vision coverage and a high-matching 401(k) retirement plan.
