    The Opportunity
    At Alera Group, our Property & Casualty team partners with businesses to identify risks, protect assets, and deliver insurance solutions that support long-term success. As a Senior Account Manager, you'll help build trusted client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and provide proactive guidance that helps clients confidently navigate an evolving risk landscape.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage a large and complex book of personal lines business while delivering exceptional client service
    • Process account transactions including applications, quotations, ID cards, proposals, endorsements, binders, billing, and correspondence
    • Respond to client, carrier, producer, and internal service requests in a timely and professional manner
    • Identify account rounding and cross-selling opportunities to enhance client relationships and coverage solutions
    • Conduct account reviews and coverage consultations to identify potential coverage gaps and recommend solutions
    • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management and document management systems
    • Stay current on carrier products, underwriting requirements, rating methodologies, and industry trends
    • Assist with training, mentoring, and development of new team members and personal lines colleagues

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 5 years of insurance industry experience including at least 3 years in an Account Manager role
    • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
    • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance coverage, underwriting, and rating concepts
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and service needs
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Expertise in high-net-worth personal lines insurance programs
    • Industry designations such as CISR, CIC, CPRIA, or similar certifications
    • Experience using AMS Sagitta, ImageRight, or similar agency management systems
    • Strong understanding of personal lines markets, carrier guidelines, and underwriting practices
    • Experience conducting coverage reviews and consultative risk discussions with clients
    • Experience mentoring, training, or supporting junior team members
    • College degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field
    • Proven commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and client retention

    Compensation
    • Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000 annually

    • Hybrid: This role follows a hybrid work arrangement, combining in-office and remote work based on business needs and manager expectations.
