The successful candidate will need to develop an understanding of our standard processes and interconnect structures to assist with troubleshooting and FA of unit processes and/or completed interconnects. This position will support both externally and internally funded projects. The position may also support other thin film/material characterization activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Hands-on engineering resource for SEM/EDS analysis and sample preparation.
- Communicating results and concerns in a collaborative, data-driven environment.
- Accurately recording and reporting data
- Assist with standard troubleshooting protocols of Micross AIT processes

Job Qualifications:
- US citizenship or permanent resident alien status is required.
- A., B.S., M.S., or PhD in physical science or engineering with thin film/material characterization experience using scanning electron microscopes
- Knowledge of wafer processes and basic device processing.
- Overall experience with metrology measurements, data recording, and data presentation (PowerPoint) is a plus.
