Semiconductor Fabrication Operator

Location: Charlotte, NC

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 6 months
  • Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Monday Friday, 10:00 AM 6:30 PM (Split Shift)

Job Summary

This role performs wafer fabrication functions in the production of semiconductor devices, operating equipment in alignment, masking, and diffusion processes. At senior and highly skilled levels, the position also performs equipment set-up and calibration, and may perform routine preventative maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process 200mm wafer through Lithography, Deposition, and Etch processes
  • Familiarity with operation of metrology equipment requiring analysis of data
  • Maintain detailed records such as SPC charts & data entry for Products and Equipment
  • Ability to work in an ISO Class 4 cleanroom and familiar with 5S principles
  • Understand clean room protocol and familiarity with handling chemicals
  • Schedule and coordinate WIP for efficient movement of Production and Engineering priorities
  • Follow instructions on paper and digital Travelers
  • Inspect and disposition nonconforming product

Required Experience

  • Typically requires a minimum of 1 2 years of related experience

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Can stand for 3 5 hours or sit for 4 8 hours per shift
  • Steady hands required
  • Work performed in an ISO Class 4 cleanroom environment
