Position Details

Position Details:

• Driver will make deliveries of Mission Foods products in dry van trailers from the DC in Puyallup, WA to Mission Foods storage facilities and warehouses

• Deliveries will be 60% storage facilities and 40% warehouses

• Driver must be comfortable with close quarters backing as it is required at most delivery locations

• Routes are dynamic so driver must be flexible to running any lane needed

• On rare occasions, the DC may experience loading delays. Driver must stay in contact with management to adjust start times on the occasions this occurs

• At the receiver, freight will be a combination of driver unload and drop/hook

• Driver will average 9 driver unload stops and 5 drop/hook stops per week

• Driver unload stops require the driver to unload product using an electric pallet jack and a lift gate

• Average weight of the pallets is 900lbs

Special Requirements:

• Driver must be willing and able to chain as weather dictates

• Driver may be sent on an alternate route or wait for the pass to open during inclement weather

• Driver is required to assist other DCS/JBI accounts as needed

• Driver is required to communicate any service delays to management consistently and in a timely manner

• Account operates 24/7 so drivers will be required to work holidays

Truck Info:

• Automatic Sleepers and Day Cabs

• Driver will alternate between sleepers and day cabs based on their route

• Slip seating is required

• Management will do their best to keep the same drivers sharing the same truck as much as possible, but driver has to be flexible

• Trucks must be left at the account for time off

Job Details:

• $0.63-$0.68 per mile
• Stop pay: $26 per stop
• Drop and hook pay: $22.50 per stop
• New hire training daily pay: $200 per day
• Safety training pay: $20 per hour
• Holiday pay: $200 per day
• Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have achieved annualized earnings of $92,000
• Frequent home time
