Position Details

Position Details:

• Drivers will make multi-stop deliveries from the facility in Elwood delivering to Home Depot stores in and around Minneapolis, Green Bay, Des Moines, St Louis and local Chicagoland area.
• No Touch Freight!
• Loading: 60% Drop & Hook - 40% Live Load (avg 1 hour - can be 2 + depending on vendor)
• Unloading: 75% Drop & Hook - 25% Live Unload (avg 1 hour)
• Drivers are required to pick up backhauls delivering to the Chicagoland area
• Drivers are off Thanksgiving & Christmas - Drivers will work New Year's Day
• Holiday pay will be effective immediately.

Special Requirements:

• Hazmat REQUIRED within 90 days - account will reimburse cost of the course and the endorsement once obtained
• Only 5% - 10% of all loads are Hazmat

Truck Info:

• Freightliner or International
• Automatic Trucks Only
• No Slip Seating - trucks are assigned
• Truck must remain at the account during time off.
• Passengers are not permitted.

Selling Points:

• Driving during the day
• Weekends off
• 85% drop and hook

Job Details:

• $0.61-$0.64 per mile
• Stop pay: $6 per stop
• Additional stop pay: $10-$20 per stop
• Drop and hook pay: $12 per event
• Outsource work: $225-$350 per day
• Attendance bonus: $100 per week
• Breakdown pay: $20 per hour
• Safety training: $20 per hour
• New hire training: $200 per day
• Holiday pay: $200 per day
• Frequent home time
• Onsite management
• Paid online orientation
