Position Details

Position Details:

• Delivery of food products in reefer trailers to Jack in the Box restaurants in CA and AZ

• Driver must be willing to make deliveries to Yuma AZ and Paso Robles, CA

• Routes will vary day to day so the driver must be flexible to run any route needed

• Driver will utilize lift gates and electric pallet jacks to unload product at the customer site

• Average weight of the product cases is 20-40lbs but some can weigh as much as 50lbs

• Driver must be capable of lifting 20-50lbs multiple times per day.

• Driver will drop product inside the facility after unload. Most stops only require a pallet drop

• Drivers will assist other DCS/JBI accounts on a weekly basis

• Driver is responsible for the quality of the product delivered and must check temperature at each location.

Special Requirements:

• Driver must be comfortable with blindside backing and close quarter maneuvers in order to make it into the delivery locations

• Driver must be able to blindside back from the street

• Driver is required to assist other DCS/JBI accounts as needed

• Pallet jack and lift gate experience preferred.

Truck Info:

• Automatic Day Cabs and Sleepers

• Peterbilt, Freightliner, and Internationals (driver cannot choose)

• Slip seating is required

• Trucks must be left at the account for time off

This role is paid at an hourly rate for all hours worked and an activity-based payment calculated using the formula, Activity Based Total - Hourly Pay = Activity Based Payment Amount, to reward drivers for their commitment to delivering excellence and increase income based on individual efforts.
