Position Details

Position Details:

• Driver will haul book displays in dry van trailers to schools within a 300 mile radius of Aurora, CO

• Driver will utilize liftgate trailers and unload/reload product on roller carts to deliver into schools

• Trailers are loaded by the warehouse the night before delivery

• Driver is required to load cases into the trailer during pickups.

• Driver may occasionally unload with a pallet jack

• Average weight of the book displays is 300lbs

• Physically demanding job

• 18 weeks out of the year the driver will be outsourced to other DCS/JBI accounts

• Occurs while school is out for winter/summer breaks

• Outsource work is mostly local, but driver must be willing to help regional accounts as needed

• Regional work typically occurs during the summer months

• Regional work may require a driver to layover 3-5 nights. Driver is put in a hotel for layovers

Special Requirements:

• Driver must be comfortable with close quarters maneuvering/backing as school locations vary in size
• Driver will be interacting with school staff/children so must have a professional demeanor and good customer service skills

• Automatic Day Cabs

• Trucks are assigned

• Driver may have to slip seat during training

• Trucks cannot be taken home for time off

Job Details:

• $0.47-$0.51 per mile
• Stop pay: $40 per stop
• JBI outsource pay: $0.47 per mile and $40 per stop
• DCS outsource pay: $250-$400 per day
• Detention pay: $30 per hour
• New hire training period: $200 per day
• Safety training pay: $20 per hour
• Holiday pay: $309 per day
• Frequent home time

• Paid online orientation
