Self-Funded Benefits Account Executive

An established employee benefits administration firm is hiring an Account Executive to lead a book of self-funded accounts out of its Fresno office. You'll own client retention and growth, and lead a team of client managers and support staff.

What you'll do

• Build retention strategies tailored to each client
• Find new product and revenue opportunities within your accounts
• Build relationships with client and prospect executives, and share market and pricing trends with them
• Own the accuracy and timeliness of your team's renewals, and keep an eye on implementations
• Meet with clients in person monthly or quarterly
• Lead up to 4 client managers and 6 support staff through coaching, reviews and 90-day plans
• Work with marketing, product teams and brokers to meet client needs

What you bring

• Account executive and sales experience in employee benefits, with self-funded plans
• Stop-loss experience
• 3 to 5 years of client management or sales experience, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills
• Ability to travel about 25% of the time, and a valid driver's license with a clean record
