Job Summary
Our client, a leading foodservice distribution company, is seeking 4 Order Selectors for their Norcross, GA warehouse facility. This is a contract position offering full-time hours on a night shift schedule within a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Select orders from pick slots/pick tickets using voice pick equipment
- Stage pallets in proper staging lanes on the shipping dock
- Load merchandise onto trailers for outbound shipment
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other industrial powered equipment safely
- Palletize and stretch-wrap product
- Utilize SOS label technology
- Conduct pre- and post-trip equipment inspections
- Follow established safety and operational procedures with attention to detail
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate voice pick equipment and industrial powered equipment (electric pallet jack, cherry picker, etc.)
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Steel toe boots required: minimum 5" high ankle support, non-slip soles, protective safety toe meeting ASTM F2413-18 standard
- Ability to work in a high-traffic, fast-paced warehouse environment
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime when tasks are not completed by end of shift
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as an order selector or in warehouse/distribution operations
- Experience with pallet jack or forklift operation
- Familiarity with pick-ticket and label technology systems
About the Role
Contract Duration: Ongoing contract assignment
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 5:00 PM start; shift concludes once all tasks are completed, with a target end time of 1:30 AM (mandatory overtime if tasks remain)
Location: Norcross, GA (on-site)
Travel: None required
