Are you a cybersecurity engineering specialist passionate about full-spectrum visibility across enterprise assets and threat landscapes? A top technology services firm is seeking an experienced Security Tool Engineer to champion the delivery, integration, and continuous improvement of modern cybersecurity platforms. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between network detection, security operations, and system automation to safeguard critical environments.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Helm the configuration, maintenance, and tuning of enterprise-grade asset discovery platforms—specifically utilizing Armis alongside complementary tools like Axonius—to maintain complete attack surface coverage.
• Oversee centralized log search, analytics, and monitoring infrastructure using Elastic Stack/Elastic SIEM to enhance threat detection and data observability.
• Write, maintain, and troubleshoot robust custom code (Python, BASH, Perl, or JavaScript) to build seamless tool integrations and eliminate manual workflows.
• Manage command-line operations, server health, system hardening (NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, CIS Controls), and LAN/WAN performance across distributed environments.

Here’s what our ideal candidate has:

• Proven experience administering, configuring, and optimizing Armis in production environments for asset intelligence, visibility, and threat operations.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or technical IT infrastructure, supported by an advanced industry credential (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISSEP, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated proficiency using Python, Shell/BASH, or similar languages to write automation and interact via command-line environments.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills, along with the flexibility to participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.
