Pay Rate: $26 $28/hr

TradeSTAR is seeking a Level II Security Technician for commercial security projects in the San Antonio area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician looking to expand their skills in electronic security, take on greater responsibility, and continue progressing in the industry

Job Duties
Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot commercial security systems
Install access control devices including card readers, door contacts, request-to-exit devices, and electronic locking hardware
Install surveillance cameras and related security equipment
Pull, route, identify, and terminate low-voltage cabling and install support structures
Assist with control panel installation, equipment connections, and system testing
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, riser diagrams, and device layouts
Perform basic troubleshooting and identify installation issues
Work independently and alongside lead technicians and project teams

Requirements
2+ years of experience installing commercial security or low-voltage systems
Experience with access control, surveillance, and electronic security equipment
Ability to install and terminate low-voltage cabling and related hardware
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and device layouts
Experience with testing and troubleshooting security systems
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Reliable transportation and valid driver s license
Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
Willingness to work days, nights, or weekends as project requirements dictate
