Security Technician

TITLE: Security Technician

DEPARTMENT: Safety

REPORTS TO: Health, Safety and Process Superintendent

RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES:

• Monitor access control on/off the property
• Provide delivery weight management and related documentation
• Perform asset management inspections throughout various areas of the property
• Assist with Safety and Health Administration/Computer data entry and recordkeeping
• Provide dispatch for and to Carlota during any emergencies
• Escort contractors/trucks
• Perform contractor site training and maintain appropriate records

QUALIFICATIONS:

1 Year of security experience preferred

Previous mining experience preferred

Knowledge of MSHA documentation

Equipment Operator experience a plus

High School Diploma

Ability to manage sensitive/confidential information

Ability to positively interact with people

Current Driver's License required

Certified CPR First Aid/AED or Emergency Medical Responder (Preferred)

Proficient at Microsoft Office & JDE software preferred

Ability to operate various audio/visual devices preferred
