Security Support Specialist

The Academy for Defense Intelligence (ADI) was formed in 2013 to serve as an integrated training solution for all Defense intelligence Agency (DIA) training. Shared educational support services were co-located in the Academy Services branch to support learning across all ADI schoolhouses. ADI uses a Learning Management System (LMS) that integrates Genius Student Information System and Blackboard Learn Learning Content Management System to register and delver training across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise.

This Support Services contract will provide ESS to approximately 35,000 personnel across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise who complete DIA sponsored courses, certification exams, and career broadening training opportunities at colleges and universities, commercial vendors, and other federal and state agencies.

The Security Support Specialist shall:

• Assist with PK.I certificate creation/uploading, issue badges, network tokens, create student accounts, and issue computer log-ons.
• Provide support to course managers and learners to complete in-processing requirements and coordinates with agency Special Security Office (SSO) when needed.
• May support the Education Support Specialist if they have the required training and experience.

• At least three years of experience in security support related functions.
• Display knowledge and experience using systems to verify security clearances/access levels for personnel.
• Possess excellent oral communication skills, and have the ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical activities simultaneously.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products with an advanced proficiency in Excel.
