    As a Security Supervisor, you'll be providing protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, associates, guests, vendors and all visitors. In addition, you'll provide guidance to a team of security officers ensuring that all protocols and operations are executed in a timely and efficient manner.

    Job Duties

    Ensure the overall safety and security of the hotel guests, associates and hotel premises

    Oversee comprehensive training for new Officers

    Monitor staff performance and activities

    Complete several types of reports on a daily basis

    Identify and correct, or report potentially hazardous conditions or situations

    Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner in cases of fire, accident and safety concerns

    Patrol the property and monitor surveillance equipment for suspicious activity

    Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

    Ensure that any violations to law or hotel policy is investigated and reported

    Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards

    Report and investigate occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis situations

    Conduct departmental key control audits and maintain key control records

    Maintain computer records of all actions in a Daily Activity Report

    Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way

    Follow department policies, procedures and service standards

    Follow all safety policies

    Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Previous experience in a Security role required

    Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required

    Certification in CPR First Aid desired

    Must possess a professional presentation

    Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

    Highly responsible & reliable

    Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

    Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team

    Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

    Working Conditions

    Performing under various temperature conditions

    Required to wear a company-provided uniform when applicable

    Physical Requirements

    Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25 pounds regularly

    Must be able to move safely over uneven or slippery surfaces in confined spaces

    Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations

    Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel

    Must have the ability to communicate with guests, management, and co-workers using verbal and written forms of communication
