Summary of Position
Responsible for the safeguarding of hotel property, assets, guests, visitors, and employees. Supervise and train staff in established safety, security and emergency procedures. Position focuses on ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while protecting the property and safety of guests and employees.
The pay rate range for this position is $26.50 per hour.
Work Hours
- Must be available to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
- Scheduling may include holidays, evenings, nights, and weekends depending on hotel events, functions, and operational demands.
Job Requirements
- Understand and support the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel.
- Demonstrate strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Establish departmental goals and objectives that align with operational priorities.
- Maintain strong organizational skills, remain detail-oriented, and complete all assigned work in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with co-workers and all departments to foster a team-oriented environment
- Build morale and promote positive associate engagement throughout the team.
- Must have the ability to push, pull, bend, squat, and lift up to 50lbs regularly.
- Follow all company policies and procedures while continuously striving to improve operational standards and efficiency.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and prepare instructions, correspondence, reports, and memos.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and electronically, with guests, management, co-workers, members, and marina tenants.
- Ability to effectively present information to associates, management, guests, members, marina tenants, and the public in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Ability to identify problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of guest service standards and guest needs.
