Cervello Global Corporation is seeking highly skilled Security Specialist to support the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Capabilities Development Directorate, aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in security operations, particularly with a background in the 8152 and other closely related Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) or equivalent experience. This role requires expertise in force protection, physical security, and anti-terrorism operations to enhance the operational capabilities of the USMC. An active TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Access Control:

  • Ensure that entry control points within the place of performance, including the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), are properly monitored.
  • Verify personnel clearances using the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Scattered Castles, or other authorized systems.
  • Issue visitor and temporary badges, maintain accurate Visitor Logs, and validate Information System Authorization Access Requests.
  • Screen incoming and outgoing documents and packages to ensure compliance with CD&I policy.
  • Perform random anti-terrorism measure (RAM) inspections and manage the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and alarm station operations.

Security Escort Support:

  • Provide escort services for visitors without security clearances, ensuring that no security breaches occur.
  • Maintain line-of-sight with all escorted personnel, particularly in secure spaces and during sensitive operations.
  • Participate in emergency evacuation drills and other contingency operations as required.

Process and Procedure Improvement:

  • Make recommendations to the Program Manager that identify security risks, provide risk mitigation techniques, and enhance the security posture.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with DISS, Scattered Castles, AMAG Technology Symmetry platform, and secure facility protocols.
  • Experience: Previous experience in access control and escort duties within DoD or other government-controlled classified environments is required.
