We are seeking an experienced Security Program Manager to oversee physical security operations at a large corporate site. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day security functions, leading a sizable team of security personnel, and ensuring a safe, secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, operational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a large team of security personnel, including supervisors and patrol officers
Oversee daily security operations, including patrol, access control, incident response, and emergency management
Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and post orders
Ensure compliance with corporate standards, local regulations, and client expectations
Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement across the security program
Manage staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning to ensure proper coverage
Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and site inspections
Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders and senior leadership
Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions
Coordinate emergency response plans and lead drills/exercises
Train, mentor, and develop team members, including succession planning for key roles
Manage vendor relationships and security technology systems (e.g., CCTV, access control)
Qualifications
5–8+ years of experience in security operations, with at least 3–5 years managing large teams (20+ personnel preferred)
Experience in a corporate, campus, or high-volume security environment
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in high-pressure situations
Experience with security systems such as CCTV, access control, and incident management platforms
Knowledge of emergency response procedures and risk management principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field
Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, or similar)
Experience working in a GSOC-supported environment
Background in managing security vendors or contract guard forces
