As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Gated Community Visitor Registration in Huntington Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help manage entry points, verify visitor and resident access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and visitors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, manage guest access, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with residential community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence, following visitor-management procedures, and communicating respectfully with residents and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
