As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening packages, monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and reporting suspicious activity. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing professional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and permitted items entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures, reporting prohibited or suspicious items and activities.
• Verify identification, access authorization, and delivery-related documentation for individuals entering controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregular conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
