Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.15 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, and unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and public agencies when required.
  • Assist with the orderly operation of the location by providing directions, supporting evacuation procedures, and communicating observations to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
