As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Gloucester, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a technology-focused location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other designated locations to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience working at a primarily driving post is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
