Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the front-of-house unarmed security presence inside the dispensary lobby at the front door.
- Monitor the front lobby and assist with deliveries as needed.
- Check IDs and manage the customer line to support reception duties.
- Patrol both inside and outside the facility to maintain safety.
- Collaborate closely with management and staff to ensure the safety of patients, property, staff, and product.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age with a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Prior security or related experience preferred.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Meet all applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for accurate log and report maintenance.
- Professional interaction with all levels of personnel and the public.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, including climbing stairs and navigating uneven terrain.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions such as cold, rain, snow, or heat.
- Follow established security protocols using good judgment and initiative.
