Description
Protect and safeguard 7 Cedars Resort property, guests and staff. Provide a uniformed presence for the overall protection of employees, customers and assets of the operation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ability to deal with customers and employees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to diffuse anger, collect accurate information, and resolve problems and concerns
Promote guest satisfaction by responding to guest inquiries
Observe all RV parking and all parking areas as well as all accessible buildings on the property
Provide assistance to every department within organization as well as Resort guests
Casino Security Officers will report any unusual activity, occurrence, or incidents on the part of any guest or employee of 7 Cedars Resort to the Sergeant on duty immediately
Provide basic Fire Fighting, First Aid and safety response
Completes all required daily logs, incident reports and other legal documents
Casino Security Officers shall file accurate and truthful reports concerning guest, employees, or themselves
Operates company vehicles as directed to do so
Drive shuttles for both guests and employees
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Must follow all safety rules and regulations
Follow all general and department policies and procedures
Ability to man stationary Security posts
Ensure customer are of legal age in designated areas
Partake in the slot drop which requires ability to push around large carts with a secondary person, bending over and twisting as well as ability to be able to go from standing to kneeling positions on a regular basis
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Must be 21 years or older
Dispatching and 2-way radio skills preferred
One-year public relations and casino security experience preferred
Knowledge of safety/security practices and procedures including: emergency situations, First Aid, CPR, emergency evacuation, defibrillator, and basic fire equipment
Must possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members
Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills
Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality
Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing
Must be able to read and interpret different forms of identification
