Travel + Leisure Co. recently acquired Yes& Vacations and Spinnaker Resorts, adding 23 resorts in destinations like Maui, Las Vegas and Hilton Head. This role has joined the Travel + Leisure Co. family, and applicants will be applying directly to Travel + Leisure Co.
The Security Officer helps create a safe, secure and welcoming environment for guests, associates and visitors while protecting resort assets and property. This role maintains a visible presence across the property, responds to safety and security concerns, and supports a positive resort experience.
This role is responsible for patrolling the property and adjoining public areas, monitoring activity and responding promptly to requests for assistance. Through an attentive and visible presence, the position helps protect guests, associates and resort assets from physical harm, theft, vandalism and other security concerns.
This opportunity also supports the resort's emergency response efforts, including responding to medical emergencies, fire, undesired conduct and potential violations of property policy or civil law. Responsibilities include investigating reported or observed incidents and completing appropriate documentation related to security events, violations and infractions.
Throughout each shift, the role provides guidance to guests and associates when safety concerns arise and maintains confidentiality, discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive situations. Additional responsibilities may include light maintenance upon request and other operational support as assigned by management.

Compensation
Generally starting at $23.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, training, and work location.
