As a Security Officer Property Access Control in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, assist visitors and employees, and help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment. Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, talent, production personnel, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate studio, production, and office locations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, production areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment while following confidentiality requirements related to media productions, client operations, and personnel information.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
