Security Officer Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and report maintenance, lighting, and/or access control concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support visitor-related interactions, and communicate security-related concerns to property management and/or local responders when needed.
• Assist with daily operations by observing site conditions, following post orders, and providing clear communication during routine activities, after-hours checks, and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
