Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and resident activity in accordance with property policies, assisting with authorized entry and reporting unusual behavior.
• Support a professional presence at the location by communicating with residents and management, noting maintenance or security-related issues, and/or helping with incident follow-up as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
