As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor alarm panels, and respond to site needs. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork. A valid driver's license is required for this driving post.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a government transportation location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, roadway-related concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, perimeter areas, and adjacent transportation facilities to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, check credentials as authorized, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, access-related activities, and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
