As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using technology to document observations and respond to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, equipment concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, fabrication spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and report unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
