As an Armed Security Officer supporting a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and care. This role requires an armed guard card or license and strong communication skills. Pay Rate: $22.10 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Carry and handle authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site policies, and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
