As an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy cruise port, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use integrity and teamwork to support security-related operations in Allied Universal's caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to cruise terminal guests, visitors, employees, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking locations, access points, perimeter areas, and adjacent facilities to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery access in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical situations, disturbances, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Assist with maintaining orderly pedestrian and vehicle flow during embarkation, debarkation, and other high-volume cruise operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
