Job Summary: Schedule - Monday - Friday 7a-3p.
The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, residents, and visitors of Nirvana Condominiums. This role requires a vigilant and proactive approach to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Access Control: Monitor and control access to the property, including residents, visitors, and contractors.
Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of the property, both on foot and in a vehicle, to deter crime and identify potential hazards.
Incident Response: Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively, including but not limited to fire alarms, medical emergencies, and security breaches.
Report Writing: Document all incidents and observations in clear and concise reports.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff.
Security Systems: Operate and maintain security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
Bilingual Communication: Fluently communicate in both English and Spanish.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid security officer license (if required by state law).
Previous experience in the security field preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical fitness to perform duties, including standing, walking, and running.
Must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
