Security Officer - Medical Incident Support

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as requested, and report unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
