As a Security Officer Mall Center Patrol Driver - Bicycle in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a premier retail center, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving position combines customer service, communication, and security-related response skills. Position Type: Full Time / Graveyard Shift

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and retailers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail center location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of shopping areas, common spaces, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe site activity, and report suspicious behavior, property damage, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
