You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.18 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation while maintaining awareness of site-specific security-related requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
