This role may involve supporting sensitive areas and assisting with behavioral incidents while demonstrating teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, following site-specific procedures for restricted areas, patient care areas, and after-hours entry.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
