As a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Operator in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener supporting a government location, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by screening visitors and belongings, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with the public and site personnel, and help deter incidents through a visible, professional presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen individuals and belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures; identify prohibited or unauthorized items and follow escalation protocols.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry; maintain orderly processing at designated access points and direct visitors as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity, identify security-related concerns, and report findings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
