As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. You will communicate professionally, report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $16.39 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-area concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver credentials as required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities.
• Maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic around shipping and receiving operations and report hazards or unusual conditions to site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
