As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Assessment in Menlo Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
