As a Security Officer Full Time Spanish Patrol in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to visitors and staff while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and patrol findings in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have two or more years of security-related experience.
• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
