As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Incident Response in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, report security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and partner agencies by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and requesting additional support when needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain awareness of persons entering or leaving the location.
• Prepare accurate reports and activity logs, documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
