As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Quality Control in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or items in accordance with site procedures. You will remain attentive and visible, communicate professionally, and help identify and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas of the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points and screening equipment, verify authorized entry, and report irregularities or prohibited items to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations, activities, and incidents according to site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
