Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Yonkers, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and vendor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
