As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol Driver in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a healthcare location, helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.64 - $23.64 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate professionally with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
