As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Response in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, staff, and individuals accessing government social services facilities by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, entrances, surrounding grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify authorization as directed and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations promptly and request additional assistance when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, maintain required logs, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
