As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Incident Intake in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and support response efforts across the property. Pay Rate: $23.36 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, and other security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor communications systems, access control alarms, cameras, and other site systems; document incidents and dispatch activity accurately.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Coordinate with building operations, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders as needed to support the continuity of commercial property operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have supervisory experience.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
