As a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver in Saratoga Springs, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and patients. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare and pharmaceutical research location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support security-related procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while documenting incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with established reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
